Typically, the results last 2-5 years before needing a colourboost, depending on skin type and individual lifestyle factors.

Pre-care Information

I hope you are looking forward to your upcoming cosmetic tattooing sessions as much as I am!

Please be aware that approximately 50% of the result comes from the work I perform in the salon, using professional skill and high-quality pigments. The other 50% depends on your individual skin cycle, how your skin heals, and your before and aftercare at home.

Following the preparation and aftercare instructions carefully is essential for achieving the best possible results and experience.

Please remember that everybody is different. This means I cannot promise that your results will look exactly the same as another client’s results you may have seen online. It is my responsibility to manage your expectations and explain what is realistically achievable for your skin, natural brows and lifestyle.

Please note: If you are currently using a brow growth serum, please discontinue use immediately. You may resume using it once your tattoo is fully healed, at least four weeks after any touch-up appointments.

Two Weeks Before Your Appointment

Please avoid prolonged sun exposure and taking fish oil, vitamin E, vitamin A, retinol or evening primrose oil, either orally or topically on the treatment area. Please also avoid facial peels, fake tan, brow growth oils, Botox or other injectables, and laser treatments in the area. All of these things may affect your healed results.

Five to Seven Days Before Your Appointment

Please avoid painkillers, blood thinners, alcohol, tea, coffee, energy drinks and pre-workout supplements.

This helps prevent excess bleeding and bruising, which may cause additional discomfort during the appointment and can also affect your long-term results.

What to Expect at Your Appointments

During your first appointment we go through a thorough consultation to discuss your vision, skin type, lifestyle, age and available techniques that would suit all of these factors. We consider whether you wear makeup daily and what your expectations are for your potential liner tattoo when choosing the perfect technique for you! We will go through a thorough consultation and you will have had the opportunity to express any worries or concerns you might have. Every artist is different, but for me it is important that this is YOUR ideal liner, not just my version of it'. With this in mind, it is also important to come in with an open mind as based on my professional opinion and experience, I may occasionally recommend a slightly different shape to what you may be used to having or how you have had makeup done to create more balance and symmetry. At the end of the day though this is are your liner and the final choice is yours to make - I want you to love them, not just me!

The entire first treatment takes 1.5-2.5 hours depending on style. We will schedule a follow up appointment for four to six weeks after initial appointment to enhance the results, tweak any areas where pigment was lost and reaffirm the pigment in the skin. At this second appointment we can also make any little tweaks, or darken colour. Again, Results can last anywhere from 12 months to 5 years, depending on your skin type (pigment fades faster on oily skin), products, and lifestyle.

In the first seven days liner will appear very vivid and stark. This is normal, and as they heal a layer of skin will create a softer look once healed.

I supply a full aftercare kit with detailed instructions to each of my clients, which is included in the cost.

Please, no guests during our sessions. Cosmetic tattoo requires a lot of my concentration and to give you the best results there can’t be any distractions in the salon.

What to expect after your treatment?

Swelling for eyeliner can occur around the eye area for 1-3 days. A cold compress or icepack will help ease swelling if necessary. Sometimes you will experience a touch of bruising also, this is more common with the shaded & classic techniques - not often with Lash Line Enhancer.

Please avoid all eye makeup for at least 3 weeks after both your initial and follow up appointment. All other makeup can be worn the next day.
